Capital Markets Expert will lead KuCoin’s financing strategy, investor relations, and capital operations, ensuring sufficient funding to support business expansion and innovation goals. You will work closely with senior leadership to identify financing opportunities, execute funding plans, and maintain long-term relationships with investors.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancing Strategy and Execution: Lead the development and implementation of mid-to-long-term financing plans, including equity financing, debt financing, and strategic investments; assess market opportunities, design financing structures, and coordinate internal teams for execution.Investor Relations Management: Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, venture capital funds, private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals; organize roadshows, investor meetings, and financing negotiations to ensure successful funding rounds.Market Analysis and Risk Assessment: Monitor global cryptocurrency markets, financial regulations, and economic trends; conduct financing risk assessments and provide strategic recommendations to optimize capital structure.Compliance and Legal Support: Ensure all financing activities comply with international financial regulations (e.g., KYC/AML requirements) and corporate governance standards; collaborate with the legal team to manage financing-related contracts and documentation.Team Leadership and Development: Build and manage a financing team, guide team members in daily tasks, provide professional training, and enhance team performance.Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with business development, product, and operations teams to support mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, and partner financing projects.Performance Reporting: Regularly report financing progress, fund utilization, and ROI analysis to senior leadership, optimizing resource allocation.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields; CFA, CPA, or MBA qualifications preferred.Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in financing, investment banking, or venture capital; experience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, or FinTech industries preferred; proven track record of leading at least 2 successful financing rounds (Series A or above).Professional Skills: Expertise in financing tools and models (e.g., valuation models, cap table management, term sheet negotiations).Familiarity with global financial markets and cryptocurrency regulatory environments.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools for financial modeling and reportingSoft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills; strong strategic thinking, ability to work under pressure; proven leadership and results-oriented mindset.Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Chinese (both spoken and written); proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Japanese or Korean) is a plus.Other: Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology; adaptability to a fast-changing industry; global perspective and cross-cultural collaboration experience.
