Automation Programmer / Control Systems Engineer (Cleanroom Systems)

EindecSingapore Pte. Ltd. is hiring an Automation Programmer / Control SystemsEngineer to support cleanroom equipment automation and regional projectexecution, while also providing essential IT infrastructure support forinternal operations.

This role isprimarily focused on industrial automation (approximately 80%), including PLCprogramming, SCADA/HMI development, and EMS/BMS integration, with a secondaryresponsibility (approximately 20%) covering IT and OT support for Eindec’sSingapore office and Malaysia factory.

KeyResponsibilities

A.Automation & Control Systems (≈80%)

• Design, program, test, and maintain PLC control systems using Omron, Siemens, and Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) platforms
• Develop, configure, and maintain HMI / SCADA systems for equipment monitoring, alarm management, and data logging
• Implement control logic for cleanroom equipment, including Air Showers, Fan Filter Units (FFU), and related control panels
• Perform software commissioning, troubleshooting, FAT, SAT, and on-site commissioning
• Interface equipment control systems with Building EMS / BMS / iBMS platforms
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, and RS485
• Provide technical support for new installations, upgrades, and refurbishment projects
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including:

• Control architecture diagrams
• I/O lists
• Functional descriptions
• Operation and maintenance manuals

• Support product improvement, standardization, and value engineering initiatives

B. IT &OT Infrastructure Support (≈20%)

• Provide IT support for Eindec Singapore office and Malaysia factory, including:
• Server upgrade, configuration, monitoring, and backup management
• Data backup, recovery, and basic cybersecurity best practices
• Support network infrastructure, including:
• Network upgrade, configuration, and basic troubleshooting (LAN, switches, connectivity)
• Perform workstation and laptop setup, including:
• New workstation deployment
• Software installation and configuration
• Troubleshooting operating system, hardware, and performance issues
• Provide day-to-day IT troubleshooting support to ensure smooth office and factory operations

JobRequirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines

• Proven experience in PLC programming using:
• Omron
• Siemens
• Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation)
• Hands-on experience with HMI / SCADA systems
• Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, control panels, sensors, actuators, and VFDs
• Experience in EMS / BMS integration is an advantage
• Basic to intermediate experience in IT infrastructure support, including:
• Servers and data backup
• Network troubleshooting
• PC and laptop setup and support

• Cleanroom, semiconductor, electronics, pharmaceutical, or high-tech manufacturing environments
• HVAC-related control or environmental monitoring systems

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Willingness to travel within Asia for project and service support

WorkingHours

• Monday to Friday, normal office hours
