Senior Electrical Engineer $4K - $6K + PB (2 to 3 months) + VB / Pioneer MRT + Transport Provided

Key Duties

·       Lead on-site installation and deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
·       Commission BESS, perform testing, and ensure successful system integration
·       Install and configure electrical distribution boards and connect systems to diesel generators
·       Perform electrical testing using multimeters, insulation testers, clamp meters
·       Interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams
·       Troubleshoot system faults and conduct root cause analysis
·       Monitor system performance and perform data-driven diagnostics
·       Ensure compliance with electrical codes, IEC / UL standards, and safety regulations
·       Coordinate with contractors, clients, and internal engineering teams
·       Prepare technical documentation, commissioning reports, and system records
·       Provide basic system training to clients and partners
·       Support hybrid systems (BESS + diesel generator) integration projects
·       Collaborate with product development teams to improve system performance

Requirements

·       Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
·       3 - 5 years of experience in Power Generator Field

Hands-on experience in:
- Electrical Installation and Commissioning
- Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar, or Generator Systems
- High-Voltage Systems and Power Electronics

Strong knowledge of:
- Diesel generators
- Electrical distribution systems
- Inverters and power electronics
- Energy storage safety practices

·       Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams
·       Experience with electrical testing equipment
·       Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
·       Independent, hands-on, and field-oriented
·       Willing to travel regionally

Good to Have

·       Experience in hybrid power systems (BESS + diesel genset)
·       Familiarity with SCADA or remote monitoring systems
·       Knowledge of grid interconnection requirements
·       Valid electrician license or relevant certifications
