M&E Engineer / Senior M&E Engineer – Building Construction Projects

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking skilled M&E Engineers and Senior M&E Engineers to lead and coordinate mechanical and electrical works for major building construction projects in Singapore. Join a leading Main Contractor on large-scale developments in hospitality, healthcare, institutional, and commercial sectors.

Position 1: M&E Engineer - Up to SGD 7,500 (Negotiable)

Position 2: Senior M&E Engineer - Up to SGD 10,500 (Negotiable)

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and manage Mechanical and Electrical works in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on M&E technical matters
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions
• Monitor site progress and ensure works align with construction programmes
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems
• Resolve M&E coordination issues with architectural and structural teams
• Ensure compliance with authority requirements, safety standards, and quality control
• Support the M&E Manager, Project Manager in site coordination, reporting, and progress tracking

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building construction projects
• Main Contractor experience is strongly preferred
• Strong site coordination and technical problem-solving skills
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices and authority requirements
