M365 / Exchange Online Engineer

Job Title: M365 / Exchange OnlineEngineer
Monthly Salary: $8,000 – $10,500 SGD
Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer and support Exchange Online environment including mail flow, transport rules, and hygiene
• Manage shared mailboxes, distribution groups, resource mailboxes, and room mailboxes
• Configure and maintain retention policies, litigation hold, and compliance features
• Administer email journaling for archiving and legal compliance requirements
• Troubleshoot mail flow issues, delivery failures, and transport delays
• Manage SMTP relay and connector configurations
• Support hybrid Exchange configurations with on-premises infrastructure
• Implement and maintain email security policies (anti-phishing, anti-malware, safe links/attachments)
• Coordinate with security team on email threat investigations
• Generate executive reports on email usage and security posture
• Manage mailbox migrations from on-premises to Exchange Online
• Maintain documentation of email environment and standard operating procedures

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Exchange Server and Exchange Online
• Strong understanding of SMTP, DNS (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and email routing
• Experience with email security platforms (Proofpoint, Mimecast, or similar)
• Proficiency in PowerShell for Exchange Online management
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate preferred
• Experience with hybrid Exchange deployments and migration tools
• Basic understanding of ITIL principles
• Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
