Job Description

Job Title: Deskside / VIP SupportEngineer (L2)
Monthly Salary: $6,500 – $8,500 SGD
Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site, walk-up, and white-glove IT support for C-level executives, traders, and other VIP stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues on desktops, laptops (Dell, HP, Apple), and peripherals (printers, docking stations, monitors)
  • Provide software support for Microsoft 365 applications, corporate applications, and proprietary trading platforms
  • Perform hands-on hardware fixes, including component replacement (RAM, SSD, keyboards, screens)
  • Set up and configure workstations for new joiners and executive moves
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and manage loaner device pool for VIPs
  • Escalate complex issues to L3 support with detailed documentation
  • Support town halls and executive meetings with AV setup assistance
  • Respond to VIP requests within defined SLAs with a high degree of professionalism
  • Document solutions and update knowledge base for future reference

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in deskside or VIP support roles in a corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with senior stakeholders
  • CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate preferred
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification is an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading floor environment
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving skills
