Mechanical Engineer

Asia Medical Enviro Services is a market leader in medical and bio-hazardous waste collection, treatment and disposal in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor plant performance and ensure minimum downtime.
• Plan and schedule manpower weekly or monthly duty roster.
• Lead root cause analysis by identifying recurring issues, troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions.
• Support plant improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors and negotiate for cost efficient services.
• Ensure Plant operations comply with existing safety regulations through regular inspections, risk assessments and permit-to-work management.
• Ensure plant comply with ISO standard and internal or external audit.
• Support plant maintenance and testing activities.
• Support Inventory management

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant fields.
• 2 – 3 years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience in chemical plant would be preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• On-the-Job training will be provided.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during plant shutdowns.
