Role Overview
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems for construction projects. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, supports project efficiency, and integrates electrical infrastructure seamlessly into building designs.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Design: Develop electrical layouts, schematics, and load calculations for building projects.
Installation Supervision: Oversee on-site installation of wiring, switchboards, transformers, and lighting systems.
Testing & Commissioning: Conduct inspections and performance tests to ensure system reliability and compliance.
Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to electrical codes, workplace safety, and regulatory standards.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams to integrate electrical systems.
Energy Efficiency: Recommend sustainable solutions and energy-saving technologies.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical reports, drawings, and progress updates for management and clients.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of construction electrical systems and building codes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar electrical design software.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
