Investment Research Analyst | Hybrid Working Arrangement

About the role:

We are recruiting a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Research Analyst for a Single-Family Office. The successful candidate will support multi-asset research and analysis, providing depth to investment decision-making and assisting with the day-to-day management of portfolio operations.

Job Description:

• Conduct fundamental research across multiple asset classes, with a particular focus on equity investments, and prepare investment analyses and recommendations to support the Principal's decision-making.
• Monitor global macroeconomic trends, market developments, and industry dynamics, identifying potential investment opportunities and risks.
• Build and maintain financial models, including valuation analyses, scenario assessments, and investment return projections.
• Monitor portfolio performance and prepare regular portfolio reviews, investment reports, and market updates.
• Liaise with external asset managers, banks, brokers, and other professional service providers on investment-related matters.
• Maintain investment records, research materials, and supporting documentation in an organized manner.
• Support ad hoc projects and other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
• 1 to 2 years of experience in investment research, asset management, or a related field
• Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Indonesian and/or Mandarin would be advantageous to support communication with different stakeholders and business partners across the region
• Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and meticulous, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
• High level of discretion and professional integrity
