Electric Vehicle Workshop Manager

Core Identity and Role

Position Overview: A workshop operations leadership role responsible for managing repair workflow, technician performance, and service quality.
Operational Focus: Ensures efficient workshop operations, high repair standards, and optimal turnaround time.
Work Environment: Hands-on automotive workshop environment managing daily technical and operational activities.
Stakeholder Interaction: Coordinates closely with technicians, service advisors, parts, and warranty teams.

Workshop Operations Management:
Manage daily workflow, job allocation, bay utilisation, and workshop productivity.
Technical Team Supervision:
Lead and monitor technician performance, repair quality, and efficiency.
Quality & KPI Monitoring:
Track KPIs such as throughput, technician efficiency, and rework rates.
Safety & Equipment Management:
Ensure workshop tools, equipment, and safety standards are properly maintained.

Experience:
Minimum 5–10 years of automotive workshop experience with supervisory exposure.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong automotive technical knowledge, with EV experience preferred.
Core Skills:
- Team leadership and workshop management
- Operational planning and coordination
- Strong problem-solving and technical oversight skills
