FX Sales Manager
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
1. Cover corporate clients, local financial institutions and government-related institutions for FX and derivative products.
2. Provide timely FX market updates, trade ideas and product solutions to clients based on market conditions, client needs and the bank’s risk appetite.
3. Work closely with traders to provide pricing and execution support for FX spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs, options and other relevant derivative products.
4. Develop and maintain client relationships, identify new business opportunities and support the expansion of the Financial Markets client franchise.
5. Understand clients’ hedging, investment and liquidity management needs, and provide suitable FX and treasury product solutions in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
6. Coordinate with internal departments including relationship managers, operations, compliance and risk management to facilitate client onboarding, transaction execution and post-trade support.
7. Support ongoing projects related to FX business development.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or other related disciplines.
2. Around 5 years of relevant working experience in FX sales, financial markets or related areas.
3. Good understanding of FX products, including spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs, options and other derivative products.
4. Familiar with corporate and financial institution client coverage, with experience in identifying client needs and providing suitable treasury solutions.
5. Strong market sense, good communication skills and ability to explain market views and product structures clearly to clients.
6. Good team coordination skills and ability to work closely with internal stake holders.
7. Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate with Chinese-speaking customers and counterparts in Head Office.
8. Self-motivated, responsible, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-moving market environment.
