MILLING MACHINE SETTER-OPERATOR (METALWORKING)

Job Description & Requirements

• Set-up and Operate CNC Milling machines
• Check materials and prepare tools required for production.
• Familiar with CNC machines, tooling, machine capabilities and machining techniques
• Perform daily housekeeping and any other duties assigned
• Carry out process measurement and ensure product's quality.
• Monitor process & machines discrepancy and report to respective Leader.
• Maintain daily production outputs.
• Carries out duties as assigned by production supervisor.
• Preferably up to 5 years experience in setting up and operating CNC Milling centre
• Able to interpret mechanical drawing & symbols
• Good communication skills and able to work as a team.
• Able to handle work under pressure and meeting dateline.
• Overtime is NEEDED on weekdays, weekends and sometimes public holidays (when necessary)
• Able to work rotating shift (Night Shift).
