Job Summary

You will operate crushing machines to process materials, maintain records, perform preventive maintenance, and support related tasks to ensure efficient, safe, and timely delivery of recycled materials.

Responsibilities

• Select and operate appropriate crushing machines for different material types to ensure efficient processing
• Prepare and transfer crushed materials accurately to the warehouse for storage
• Perform daily manual routine tasks to maintain smooth operations
• Support outdoor routine tasks such as water treatment and battery processing as needed
• Verify and ensure correct materials are received daily from other departments to maintain process accuracy
• Maintain detailed daily records of all crushing activities using log sheets for traceability
• Conduct preventive maintenance on crushing machines to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Ensure timely delivery of processed materials to customers to meet service commitments
• Maintain proper 5S housekeeping standards and consistently follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum O Level education or equivalent
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing environments
• Ability to understand English to read work instructions, safety guidelines, and system interfaces
• Experience operating a forklift is an added advantage
• Willingness to work in PPE and in environments with ventilation fans
• Availability to work Monday–Friday and alternate Saturdays (8.45am – 5.45pm)
• Ability to perform overtime work as required, complying with MOM regulations
