Speech Therapist (PT | $30/hr)

Job Summary

This role provides speech therapy support to students with communication needs, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring. It also involves working closely with caregivers and school teams to support students’ development.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide speech therapy support for students with communication difficulties
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions based on programme needs
• Update and communicate student progress with parents and caregivers
• Work with school teams to refer students for further support when needed
• Share best practices and knowledge in speech therapy with the team

Requirements

• Recognised degree in Speech Therapy / Speech-Language Pathology (AHPC-recognised for local practice)
• Registered or eligible for registration with AHPC
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience is preferred
• Able to assess, plan, and deliver therapy independently, including documentation and case management
• Good interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust and support students

• Minimum 10-20 hours per week
