We are seeking an experienced Freelance Simultaneous Interpreter (Japanese–English) to support a two-daysenior leadership business event in Singapore.

Event Details

Dates & Working Hours:

• 2 July: 9:00am – 6:00pm
• 3 July: 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Event Type: Business-to-Business (B2B) leadership engagement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time simultaneous interpretation between Japanese and English during presentations, panel discussions, and leadership sessions
• Facilitate effective communication among senior stakeholders in a professional business setting
• Accurately interpret complex business and strategic discussions

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in translation, interpretation, or related disciplines
• Current and active experience in professional translation and/or interpretation work
• Demonstrated ability to perform simultaneous interpretation (Japanese–English) in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience supporting corporate events, business meetings, or senior leadership engagements
• Strong command of Japanese and English, with the ability to interpret at a professional level
• Familiarity with business topics such as: Reinvention and transformation, Client centricity, Ecosystem partnerships, Client experience

(Proficiency in Japanese is required for this role due to the need to support interpretation between Japanese-speaking and English-speaking participants.)

Additional Information

• Compensation: Open to proposal; fees will be assessed based on experience and market benchmarks
