Consulting Manager, IT Transformation (Payment)

My client, a Global Consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Consulting Manager to drive digital transformation projects, and strengthen their presence within the banking / payment domain. This role blends consulting delivery, market development, and team leadership—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and is passionate about the whole banking / payment space.

What You’ll Do

• Lead delivery of payments modernization programs (ISO 20022, platform implementations).
• Redesign processes, operating models, and controls.
• Facilitate workshops, manage requirements, testing, and migration.
• Advise senior stakeholders and support key decision forums.
• Manage risks, issues, and project scope.
• Contribute to business development and practice growth.
• Lead and mentor project teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years consulting experience in banking/payments, preferably in established consulting firms.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnam payments and ISO 20022.
• Experience in payments transformation or system implementation (e.g., Finastra GPP).
• Solid business analysis, stakeholder management, and delivery skills.
• Proven team leadership and strong communication abilities.
