Job Description
- Weld different alloy metal components together with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) - process equipment to repair aircraft
- Apply SOP in checking and assembling tasks
- Operate machines for assembling tasks and perform cutting and grinding
- Operate robotic welding cell
- Backup and assist repair development of new and existing capabilities
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by Repair Shop Manager
Job Requirements
- Minimum ‘O’ / ‘N’ level or equivalent
- At least 3 years of related working experience and minimum 1 year with GTAW welding process experience.
- Possess relevant welding certification standard for fusion welding for Aerospace
- Candidate with Civil Aviation Aircraft Welding Approval would be of advantage
- Possess good analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
- Able to work independently and multitasking
- Must be willing to work overtime/ shift if required
