Legal Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a Legal Executive to join our Asset and Wealth Management practice

This role is for a motivated and reliable individual who will play a key supporting role to our retail funds practice.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in review and preparation of standard documents relating to collective investment schemes
• Conduct legal and regulatory research
• Support senior lawyers on transactions and ad-hoc tasks, primarily in a supporting capacity
• Take ownership of document management and other discrete workstreams where appropriate
• Contribute proactively to team initiatives and knowledge development
• Collaborate with support staff on administrative tasks

Requirements

• Degree/diploma in law
• Relevant experience as a Legal Executive
• Strong command of written and spoken communication skills
• Resourceful, well-organised, and comfortable handling routine and detail-intensive work
• Able to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environment
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Experience in retail collective investment schemes work is a plus
