Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and visitors, delivering an exceptional experience to all.
  • Bring experience in a reception or guest relations role within a corporate office environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage front-of-house situations calmly and professionally, with or without issues arising.
  • Provide strong customer service, demonstrate initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk, reception area, and lobby.
  • Manage access badges, including distribution, creation, auditing, photo capture, data entry, printing, and deactivation.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including preparing shipping labels, scheduling courier pickups, and shipping laptops and termination boxes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with IT and People Operations to coordinate shipments for new hires, terminations, and asset replacements.
  • Manage and update work tickets assigned to the team in the ticketing system in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Respond promptly to urgent requests and escalate issues as needed.
  • Place orders for workplace-related items as needed, including food & beverage and supplies, while monitoring inventory and restocking supplies.
  • Support the Events SME as needed by assisting with planning and execution of events.
  • Complete special projects and other assigned tasks as needed.
  • Update and maintain spreadsheets, documents, and calendars as required.
  • Review and route invoices to the appropriate channels for payment processing, while responding to and prioritizing day-to-day operational requests from the team lead, communicating effectively with team members and employees, and following department and company policies and procedures.
