Purchasing
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery capabilities.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure optimal cost-efficiency and compliance to project requirements.
Prepares Commercial Bid Evaluation and issue Purchase Order.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure timely procurement of necessary materials.
Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure alignment with company goals.
Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing.
Logistics
Liaison with Client's Logistics department, understand requirements to ensure smooth accomplishment of projects.
Ensure that all shipments comply with legal regulations and company policies regarding safety and environmental standards.
Manage inventory control, storage, dispatch of goods.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, providing status updates to relevant stakeholders.
Liaison with Vendors on the shipping information and tracking the progress of delivery.
To check the submission of shipping document from the Vendor and get Client's clearance prior the shipment.
Coordinate with the warehouse on all crating and packing of materials.
Matching of Invoices (Forwarders/Courier).
Job Requirements
Diploma in logistics / supply chain or relevant field
Able to work as a team
3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or logistics roles. Experience in water industry is a plus.
