Civil Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor the progress of civil works and ensure that jobs are completed on schedule
• Coordinate site activities with other disciplines and clients' resident representatives
• Review technical drawings and specifications, verify quantities and negotiate variation orders
• Conduct quality control and assurance checks, construction inspections and ensure compliance with the obtained permits and approvals and industry standards and practices
• Provide technical support and advice to client, team members and subcontractors
• Collaborate with EHS Department to implement and ensure safety measures at the job site
• Any other duties to be assigned from time to time

Prerequisites:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in EPC projects, preferably in construction of power and industrial plants
• Able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
• Possess strong project management and communication skills
• Strong commitment to safety
• Willing to work at construction sites
• Project Location: Jurong Island (Transport will be provided from designated pick-up points)
