Job Description

Join as an Assistant Manager (Finance & Procurement). You will support daily office operations, manage procurement activities, maintain vendor services, and ensure accurate student record administration and reporting. You will also support planning and execution for annual Commencement and related events.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee day-to-day office administration, including fixed asset management

  • Handle procurement activities (sourcing, purchasing, and renewals) within budget and policy guidelines

  • Coordinate hiring procedures for agency/contract staff in collaboration with departments

  • Maintain vendor contracts and arrange preventative maintenance to reduce downtime

  • Support student records administration, data integrity, and reporting (including EduRec updates)

  • Prepare detailed reports and ensure confidentiality and accuracy

  • Assist with annual Commencement logistics and stakeholder communications

  • Support team coordination and process improvements

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline (finance background is an advantage)

  • Strong competency in Microsoft Excel

  • Good organisational and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Meticulous and able to meet tight timelines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Able to work on weekends on an ad-hoc basis to support examination operations

  • Experience as an office manager and/or exposure to SAP S/4HANA
