Key Highlights:

- Be a part of a team to analyze court documents, extract insights from divorce judgments, help develop AI systems for efficient data extraction while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze court data, documents, and judgments, including both unstructured court judgments and structured quantitative data.
- Extract and summarize key information.
- Division of matrimonial assets and the rationale behind the allocation.
- Grounds for divorce and the legal basis for granting the divorce.
- Duration of proceedings, including the timeline of divorce cases.
- Ancillary matters, documenting disputes related to custody, maintenance, and property.
- Capture any additional insights or patterns observed in court documents.
- Prepare concise reports or summaries of findings for internal use.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations when handling sensitive legal documents.
- Contribute to the development and validation of AI systems for future data extraction.
Key Requirements:
- Holder of Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Legal research experience or prior work with court documents is preferred.
- Legally trained with the ability to analyze case law, interpret judgments, and extract relevant precedents.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, validation, pivot tables, filtering, and formulas).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word for drafting legal documents and formatting citations.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities for interpreting legal documents and judgments.
- Excellent written communication skills for preparing clear and concise reports.
- High attention to detail for accuracy in extracting and summarizing legal data.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Highly systematic and methodical approach to work.
- Familiarity with family law and divorce proceedings is an advantage.
