Job Description

Key Highlights:

  • Contract Duration: 11 months
  • Salary: Up to $3,300/month
  • Focus on workforce capability development, awards administration, and HRD initiatives.
  • Exposure to end-to-end project management, frameworks development, and stakeholder engagement

Key Responsibilities:

1. Awards Administration

  • Manage end-to-end administration of the STE Innovation Challenge and Excellence Awards
  • Coordinate nomination cycles, judging panels, results collation, and reporting
  • Prepare briefing materials, panel decks, and tracking dashboards
  • Maintain submission databases and progress tracking tools
  • Draft communications such as nomination briefs, publicity decks, and project summaries
  • Process reimbursements and support financial tracking for awards activities
  • Recommend improvements to enhance future award cycles

2. Competency & Capability Framework Development

  • Conduct research and benchmarking of competency frameworks across sectors
  • Identify gaps, overlaps, and inconsistencies in datasets
  • Maintain structured competency databases and taxonomies
  • Track agency consultations and framework development milestones
  • Support digitization and documentation of competency frameworks

3. Programme, Event & Engagement Support

  • Support planning and execution of HR leader sessions, communities of practice, and award ceremonies
  • Coordinate vendor engagement and procurement processes (venues, catering, logistics, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with public sector procurement and finance procedures
  • Provide event support including photography and post-event content creation
  • Draft event write-ups, reports, and microsite content
  • Support team engagement activities and onboarding materials
  • Assist with coordination across internal stakeholders and temp staff

Key Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcome
  • Background in HR, Business, Public Policy, Communications, or related fields
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred (awards, events, or L&D an advantage)
  • Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SharePoint, Canva, Adobe tools, or basic photo/video editing is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills, including liaison with vendors and senior stakeholders
