Investment Counsellor (Private Bank)

Our client, a global private bank, is looking for an experienced private bank investment counsellor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Serve as a primary investment advisor to HNW and UHNW clients, building deep, long-term relationships and establishing strong credibility in the market
• Provide investment insights, portfolio construction guidance, and actionable ideas across global markets and multiple asset classes
• Oversee and support the implementation of investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with client suitability and objectives
• Partner closely with Relationship Managers to support business development, including acquisition of new clients and growth of existing client wallets
• Contribute to broader strategic initiatives through strong market awareness and understanding of the competitive landscape
• Deliver integrated investment solutions by leveraging capabilities across traditional and alternative investments, wealth planning, credit, and global markets
• Monitor portfolios on an ongoing basis, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to client mandates
• Maintain strict adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and risk and compliance standards, ensuring timely resolution of audit and regulatory matters
• Act as a senior contributor to the team, with a willingness to mentor and support junior colleagues

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Proven experience in investment advisory, portfolio management, or sell-side/global markets roles
• Strong track record working with HNW/UHNW clients or sophisticated investor bases
• Deep understanding of multi-asset investment solutions and global markets
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
• CFA qualification or Master’s degree will be highly advantageous
• Highly disciplined, self-driven, and collaborative in nature
