Portfolio Analytics Strategist(Asset Management)

Our client is a well-established global asset management platform with a strong presence across public markets. As part of their continued investment into data-driven investment capabilities, they are looking to expand their Quantitative Strategies & Investment Analytics team. This role sits closely with investment professionals and focuses on building scalable analytics capabilities, improving investment workflows, and supporting portfolio research through data and technology-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with portfolio managers, investment teams, and research stakeholders to develop investment analytics and quantitative solutions
• Build and maintain analytics tools, research frameworks, and data-driven applications to support portfolio monitoring and investment decision-making
• Work with large and imperfect datasets, including data sourcing, cleaning, validation, and analysis
• Support the deployment and productionization of investment analytics tools and research pipelines
• Collaborate with engineering and technology teams on system integration, cloud environments, and scalable infrastructure
• Conduct quantitative analysis, portfolio analytics, factor analysis, and investment research to generate actionable insights
• Drive automation and process improvements across investment research and analytics workflows
• Contribute to the development of scalable investment platforms supporting multiple asset classes and investment teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or related disciplines
• Prior experience within investment analytics, quantitative strategies, data science, or investment technology environments
• Strong programming skills in Python or R; familiarity with data engineering, analytics libraries, and production coding practices
• Good understanding of investment markets, portfolio analytics, or quantitative investment workflows
• Exposure to production environments, deployment workflows, cloud platforms, or scalable analytics systems is advantageous
• Comfortable working across both technical and investment-facing environments with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work with ambiguity, investigate data quality issues, and independently drive analytical projects end-to-end
• Prior exposure to asset management, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, investment banks, or quantitative investment platforms would be preferred
