Senior Content Marketing Manager, Global
We are looking for a strategic, organised, and collaborative Senior Content Marketing Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of our content marketing initiatives for our global brand and product narratives.
The senior content marketing manager role is focused on the strategic planning, creation, and optimization of Adyen's content marketing plan. They have strong project management skills, data-proficiency, creativity and business acumen - understanding of different B2B content formats and how to leverage them to meet set goals.
What you’ll do
- Lead on content planning for global brand programs and cross-vertical initiatives, defining a calendar of integrated content plans that meet business, marketing and brand goals
- Develop and implement content production and distribution strategies to maximize reach and engagement across relevant channels and target audiences.
- Collaborate closely with local and global teams, including country marketing managers, content marketing, designers, product marketing managers, commercial teams, sales, and agencies, to produce compelling and relevant content and marketing materials.
- Collaborate closely with the Team Lead to build our global content strategy and engine.
- Develop detailed project plans that outline resources, timelines, and milestones. Prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and keep various projects on track to meet deadlines.
- Manage both in-house and external writing resources, ensuring adherence to product standards and brand consistency while upholding quality and voice.
- Write copy as required for both short-form and long-form formats (e.g., blogs, reports, events, ad copy, landing pages, scripts).
- Brief, review and manage video content.
- Identify and develop ongoing content programs — series, franchises, recurring formats — that build audience habit and brand recognition over time.
- Schedule, edit, proofread, publish, and optimize content for various platforms to ensure quality, clarity, consistency, and discoverability (SEO, GEO, AEO).
- Regularly audit our content and report on data to measure the success of content and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Support on identifying opportunities to scale content production through automation.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in content marketing to drive innovation and maintain competitive edge.
Who you are:
- Experience
8+ years in content marketing and editorial, or strategic copywriting, ideally within B2B tech, fintech, or financial services. You bring a strong track record of owning and evolving content strategy, not just executing against it. - Strategic mindset
You think beyond individual assets and understand how content drives business outcomes. You can connect content initiatives to broader marketing and commercial goals, identify opportunities, and prioritize where to play. - AI fluency
You are comfortable using AI as part of your workflow to scale output, improve efficiency, and enhance creative quality — while maintaining strong editorial standards. - Video storytelling experience
You have experience shaping compelling video content — from developing narratives to crafting strong hooks that capture attention early. You understand what works in short-form, platform-first video and can partner effectively with creative teams to bring ideas to life. - Media and content ecosystem fluency
You have a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape and how B2B audiences consume content across platforms — from long-form reports to short-form, social-first, and video-led formats — and know how to adapt content accordingly. - Master storyteller
You have strong editorial judgment and a journalistic mindset. You know how to find the angle, simplify complexity, and turn technical topics into clear, compelling, and differentiated stories. - Audience-centric
You are deeply curious about your audience. You actively seek to understand the motivations, behaviors, and pain points of merchants across industries, and use these insights to create relevant and high-impact content. - Strong owner and collaborator
You thrive in a fast-paced, flat environment and take full ownership of your work. You’re comfortable working independently while also influencing stakeholders and collaborating across teams, agencies, and freelancers to raise the bar on output. - Operational excellence
You have strong project management instincts and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver consistently high-quality work while remaining open to iteration and feedback. - Language skills
Native-level English, with strong writing and editing ability.
