Job Description

  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities and projects, ensuring all assigned work is completed according to requirements, project plans, and specifications.
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of workers and subcontractors on site to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Control the use of materials on site to prevent unnecessary wastage and ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures and ensure all work activities comply with regulations.
  • Develop and enforce safety policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure accordance to safety procedures to minimize risks.
  • Ensure that work activities are performed according to operational control procedures to prevent risks and ensure safe and effective operations.
  • Maintain good housekeeping throughout the worksite.
  • Attend site inspections, address any issues that arise, and ensure that all necessary clearances are obtained for continued work.
  • Attend and actively participate in safety meetings and Integrated Management System (IMS) activities to promote continuous improvement and safety awareness.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, resource usage, and any incidents.

Requirements:

  • Electrical / M&E qualification (NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma)
  • Around 3–5 years site experience (minimum)
  • Able to read electrical drawings
  • Basic knowledge of building electrical systems
  • Safety certificates like CSOC / BCSS (common in SG)
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Able to manage workers and solve site problems
