Job Summary
As a Sales Executive at Lian Seng Hardware, you will be the primary point of contact for clients in the construction, marine, and oil & gas industries. You are responsible for driving revenue by managing existing accounts and hunting for new business opportunities for our range of standard fasteners and customized engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new customer segments within the marine, construction, and heavy industries.
Account Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients (main contractors, engineers, and procurement managers) to ensure repeat business.
Technical Consultation: Understand client requirements for customized hardware (e.g., specific L-bolts, J-bolts, or CNC machining services) and provide appropriate technical solutions.
Quotation & Negotiation: Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and tender documents efficiently. Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals while maintaining healthy margins.
Coordination: Work closely with the Production and Engineering Teams to ensure that customized orders meet technical specifications and delivery timelines.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in building materials, hardware, or the construction industry.
Technical Skills: Ability to read basic construction drawings or technical specifications is a strong advantage.
Soft Skills: Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
