Job Summary
Supports a purchasing team by processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and managing vendor documentation. Ensures that daily buying operations run smoothly, inventory records remain accurate, and supplier payments are processed efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders and verify invoice pricing to ensure accurate payment submissions to the Accounts Department
- Communicate with suppliers via email to resolve invoice discrepancies and clarify order details
- Update inventory records and perform stock deductions in the system based on warehouse data to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Prepare reports to support purchasing and inventory management activities
- Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned by supervisors to support team operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the industrial machinery trading industrial sector
- Proficient in Excel to manage data and reporting tasks
- Ability to start work within a short period of time
- Proficiency in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients
