We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Income Auditor cum Purchasing Officer to join our hotel finance and procurement team. The successful candidate will support both income audit functions and purchasing operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and reconcile all hotel postings, settlements, and transactions to ensure accuracy in financial records
Prepare Daily Sales Reports for management review
Review and verify guest ledger, city ledger, and credit card transactions for accuracy and completeness
Ensure compliance with month-end closing deadlines and reporting schedules
Reconcile Food & Beverage Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions with accounting systems and prepare necessary adjustments
Review voids, adjustments, and complimentary postings to ensure proper authorization and justification
Assist in preparing month-end income journal entries and support financial closing activities
Assist the General Cashier in conducting surprise float counts
Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Manager
Manage procurement of goods, services, operating supplies, and equipment in a cost-effective manner
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and service standards
Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs), ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
Conduct regular market price checks and analysis to support cost control initiatives
Ensure suppliers comply with required standards, including food safety (HACCP) and internal procurement policies
Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, pricing, and supplier documentation
Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Manager
Requirements
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related discipline
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry or hospitality finance/procurement functions
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems
Good understanding of accounting principles and procurement processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
