Job Summary
We are looking for a Cleaning Assistant Manager to support daily cleaning operations, supervise cleaning teams, and ensure service standards are met. The role involves working closely with clients, supervisors, and frontline cleaners to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily cleaning operations at assigned sites.
- Supervise cleaning supervisors and frontline cleaners.
- Plan manpower deployment and arrange replacements when needed.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure cleanliness and service quality.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and work performance.
- Handle client feedback and support service recovery when required.
- Ensure cleaning schedules and tasks are completed on time.
- Guide and train staff on cleaning standards, safety, and work procedures.
- Monitor cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure staff follow workplace safety and company requirements.
- Prepare simple reports, checklists, and operational updates.
Requirements
- Minimum Tertiary education, preferably in related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in cleaning operations or facilities services.
- Experience in supervising cleaning teams is preferred.
- Able to communicate with clients and frontline employees.
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and support urgent operational needs.
- Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
- Willing to work beyond normal hours when required.
- Must be able to commit to retail work hours.
