CNC Turning/ Milling Machinist

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files. Input machine parameters and program settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices for efficient and accurate machining.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
Adhere to safety regulations and best practices in the workplace.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in CNC machining or related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC turning and milling machines. Experience with Fanuc Control machine is a plus.
Proficiency in using various measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report on machine performance and production status.
