Job Description 

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on management of Accounts Receivable activities, ensuring accuracy and timely billing

  • Manage contract-based and milestone-driven billing processes.

  • Responsible for preparing balance sheet schedules, GST returns and filings, and fixed asset register and depreciation.

  • Oversee AP operations and ensure effective payment processing.

  • Prepare monthly SOAs and monitor payment collections with customers and sales teams.

  • Generate and analyze sales reports for customers and management.

  • Perform month-end bank reconciliation, journal entry processing and adjustments.

  • Assist in preparation of the management reports

  • Assist in general day to day administrative matters when required

  • Support year-end audit and financial reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum LCCI / Diploma holder in Accounting/ Finance with more than 3 years relevant working experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.

  • Good knowledge of finance and accounting principles.

  • Responsible, meticulous, organized and able to multitask.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Good team working skills, self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • Knowledge in MYOB accounting software will be an advantage.

What measures the success of the role

  • Invoicing and Payment Accuracy: Accurate invoices and timely dispatch to clients. 

  • Accounts Receivable Performance: Reduced no. of overdue payment and timely payment by clients 

  • GST Filing: 100% accuracy and timely submission of quarterly GST returns without penalties. 

  • Audit Support: Successful completion of the year-end audit with minimal adjustments or findings. 

  • Reconciliation: Completion of monthly bank reconciliations within a set timeframe (e.g., 5 business days after month-end).

  • Reporting: Timely and accurate preparation of management reports to support decision-making.

  • Cash Flow Management: Accuracy in daily cash flow management and bank portal payment preparations.
