Student Support Officer| Bukit Batok

Responsibilities:

• Support student management and case management activities, includingstudent supervision and statement-taking.
• Supervise students in holding rooms, detention, and in-school suspensionprogrammes.
• Provide support for students with additional needs (SwANs) on selectedcases.
• Assist with CCTV reviews and maintain accurate case records anddocumentation.
• Conduct regular patrols of school premises to ensure student safety,attendance, and discipline.
• Monitor student activities in classrooms, common areas, special rooms,and designated school spaces.
• Support school events, excursions, and student supervision activities.
• Assist school administration and operations teams during school holidaysand Home-Based Learning periods.
• Carry out other student management and operational duties as assigned byschool leaders.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a school environment, student management, youthwork, or a related field preferred.
• Passion for working with and supporting teenagers.
• Strong ability to build rapport and positive relationships with studentsand stakeholders.
• Experience in handling student behaviour and disciplinary matters.
• Good investigative, observation, and organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in challenging orfast-paced situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
