Treasury & Corporate Finance Executive (Shipping / Asset Financing)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end execution of project and corporate financing transactions for vessels and maritime assets.
• Assist in reviewing, compiling, and summarizing Request for Financing (RfP) proposals from financial institutions and lending partners.
• Coordinate and prepare due diligence materials required by potential lenders, internal stakeholders, and external advisors.
• Assist in the management of loan documentation processes, including tracking and coordinating conditions precedent (CP) and conditions subsequent (CS) for financing drawdowns.
• Prepare financial analyses, presentations, and papers to support internal decision-making, senior management discussions, and Board approvals.
• Support the execution and monitoring of hedging strategies to manage interest rate and foreign exchange exposures.
• Monitor and track financial covenants and compliance requirements across secured credit facilities for affiliate entities.
• Keep abreast of developments in ship financing, capital markets, and broader shipping industry trends.
• Provide support for treasury-related initiatives, including M&A due diligence, investment evaluations, and other corporate finance activities as required.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and rotational assignments within the treasury and finance function.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Maritime Business, Real Estate, International Trade, or related disciplines.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Ship finance or asset-backed financing
• Corporate banking, loan portfolio management, loan agency, or loan documentation
• Audit & assurance, corporate finance, or tax advisory within professional services firms
• Treasury or corporate finance functions within shipping, aviation, logistics, commodities, energy, real estate
• Financial due diligence or M&A-related work
• Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal or other financial information platforms will be an added advantage.
