BIM Modeler (M&E)

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed BIM models for MEP (including electrical systems) based on project requirements and specifications.
• Review and update discipline models to ensure compliance with project requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and modelling standards.
• Perform clash detection between M&E systems and other disciplines, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to resolve coordination issues and maintain updated models.
• Support the generation of coordinated drawings, shop drawings, and quantity take-offs derived from BIM models.
• Maintain model version control and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Adhere to BIM standards and protocols, maintaining model quality and integrity.
• Coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and constructability of BIM models.

Requirements:

• Diploma and Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), Building Services, or a related field  
• Proficiency in BIM softwares – Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
• Minimum 2-5 years of BIM modelling experience, especially for MEP projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems (e.g., ACMV, electrical, plumbing) and coordination principles.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, detail-oriented and a problem-solver.
