Trade Finance & Operations Executive

Our client is a reputable O&G commodities trading company with operations across multiple markets. They are currently looking to hire a Trade Finance & Operations Executive. This role will be responsible for end-to-end commercial operations including invoicing, accounts receivable management, credit administration, customer onboarding, trade documentation, month-end closing, and coordination with trading, operations, and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update daily market information including MOPS pricing reports. 

• Coordinate with Trading, Operations and Finance teams. 

• Prepare and issue invoices for delivered cargoes, ex-wharf sales, bunkering transactions and mooring services. 

• Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up overdue payments. 

• Manage customer credit limits and maintain credit-related records. 

• Conduct KYC and onboarding procedures for new customers. 

• Support onboarding and verification of new vendors. 

• Handle Letters of Credit (LC) and trade finance documentation. (Shipping docs, LOI & Invoices) 

• Prepare margin analysis reports and management reports. 

• Support month-end closing and SAP reconciliation. 

• Support internal/external audits and ICFR activities. 

• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management. 

• Participate in periodic audits 

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in trading operations, shipping, bunker trading, oil trading or commercial operations. 

• Experience in SAP is preferred.
