Job Description: TCS BaNCS (Custody) Implementation& Support

Role Summary

Senior Functional expert responsible for end-to-end implementation and production support of TCS BaNCS solutions across Custody/Corporate Actions domains with deep expertise in BaNCS architecture, integration frameworks, and Custody domain ensuring alignment across business, technology, and regulatory standards. The role combines program delivery ownership, architectural oversight, and L2 support governance, ensuring seamless lifecycle execution from implementation to stabilization and ongoing production support.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Delivery Ownership

-         Lead full lifecycle delivery from discovery to stabilization

-         Manage L2 support, release management, and production stability

-         Oversee integrations, testing, and migration

-         Drive governance, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation

-         Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards

2. Production Support & Release Management

-         Manage L2 support operations including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and SLA adherence

-         Own release management (scheduled & ad-hoc deployments, patching, upgrades)

-         Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and defect management cycles

-         Ensure production environment readiness and stability post-release

3. Functional & Domain Expertise

-         Strong exposure to Custody & Corporate Actions including reconciliation and asset servicing workflows

-         Understanding of real-time and batch processing systems

4. Integration & Architecture Governance

-         Oversee integrations with Core Banking, SWIFT, Clearing systems

-         Manage API, MQ, and event-driven integration patterns

-         Ensure alignment with BaNCS SI / Integration Workbench frameworks

-         Support upstream/downstream integration testing and troubleshooting

5. Testing, Migration & Environment Management

-         Orchestrate SIT, UAT, Performance & Security Testing, Data migration, reconciliation, validation

-         Manage Production-equivalent environments and deployment pipelines

-         Infra upgrades: OS, DB, MQ patching support

6. Program Governance & Stakeholder Management

-         Act as single point of accountability for delivery and support

-         Engage with Bank stakeholders, Business/Product Owners, Infra teams

-         Drive governance forums Steer Co, Business/IT Teams, Release Manager

7. Change, Risk & Quality Management

-         Conduct impact analysis for change requests and enhancements

-         Identify and mitigate risks across Integration, migration, operational stability

-         Ensure compliance with Regulatory and ISO standards

-         Track Defect metrics, SLAs, quality benchmarks

8. Automation & Continuous Improvement

-         Drive automation of operational processes and monitoring scripts

-         Optimize batch scheduling (EOD/Intraday) and system performance

-         Enhance incident response, alerting, and observability frameworks

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Skills : Candidates must demonstrate ALL of the below:

-         10+ years in Custody/Corporate actions implementation programs

-         Minimum 2–3 full lifecycle Custody product implementation experience.

-         Deep expertise in:

• BaNCS architecture & framework
• Integration patterns (MQ, APIs, ISO messaging)

-         Strong exposure to:

• BaNCS SI / Integration Workbench / API frameworks

Preferred Experience with:

-         Regulatory programs (SGX,MAS)

-         High-volume transaction processing environments

-         Non-functional requirements (Performance, Security, Scalability)

-         Strong communication and leadership skills

-         Ability to manage onsite-offshore teams

-         High ownership and problem-solving mindset

-         Knowledge of JIRA, PL/SQL, J2ee, JBOSS

-         Should have interest to work in 24/7 project
