Cardiac Technologist

Job responsibilities:

• Perform non-invasive cardiac ultrasound examinations to assist cardiologists in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases according to acceptable standards and protocol
• Perform echocardiogram procedures to capture high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels.
• To ensure familiarization of use and correct handling of equipment to avoid incorrect equipment usage
• Work closely with nurses and support staff to ensure patient care is met
• Recognize and resolve abnormal situations that may arise
• Ensure regular QC, maintenance and care of equipment
• To ensure compliance of radiology safety policy
• Stay current with advancements in echocardiography technology.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Medical Technology, Biological Science, Biomedical Science or related
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Echo Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
