Research & Development Manager

Responsibilities:

• Aggregating research data from the team and preparation presentations for weekly and monthly meetings with Production Department.
• Conducting weekly meetings with Production Department presenting results and collecting feedbacks for the R&D team.
• Communicate with R&D team afterweekly meetings with production department, providing feedbacks and planning next steps together with R&D director. Maintain effective smooth communication and transfer of the information between Singapore R&D teams and headquarters teams in Moscow.
• Coordinate R&D projects across different production departments (apparel, footwear and sport equipment) coordinating project timelines ensuring that all parties involved are aware of project deliverables, receive samples in time.
• Conduct tracking of R&D projects, ensure that all project information is properly documented and communicated in time to all relevant parties.
• Support communication between Russian-speaking production departments and Singapore-based technical staff to ensure smooth project coordination.
• Communicating with marketing department when necessary, providing full data about developments and technologies implemented in simple way, helping to create marketing information for customers related about new technologies.
• Communicating weekly with the team from Coimbra University working on membrane development as a coordinator.
• Be responsible for R&D projects related to the development of thermal protection with the minimization of heat loss by irradiation and convection
• Follow up on pending technical issues and proactively identify possible project delays or operational bottlenecks.
• Support execution of projects related to: Non-woven insulation, functional membranes and moisture management textiles.
• Independently lead selected research projects in chemistry, materials science, or textile physics under supervision of the R&D Director.
• Conduct literature reviews, patent searches, benchmarking studies, and technical analysis related to ongoing projects.
• Support laboratory trial planning, testing coordination, and evaluation of experimental results.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and scientists to ensure smooth laboratory operations and efficient use of resources.
• Monitor project progress and regularly report status updates to the R&D Director.
• Support implementation and transfer of laboratory developments into pilot-scale or production-scale manufacturing.
• Assist in maintaining relationships with suppliers, universities, testing laboratories, and external research partners.
• Participate in technical meetings, exhibitions, conferences, and discussions with external collaborators when required.
• Ensure confidentiality of technical information, formulations, and company intellectual property. Prepare of patent drafts, if necessary.
