Salary

• $4,500 - $5,500
• Overtime: Payable

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
• Saturday: 8.30am – 12.30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor Civil & Structural (C&S) works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and project standards.
• Oversee projects involving 66kV and above substations, data centres, industrial developments, and factory facilities.
• Work closely with the Qualified Person (QP), consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project coordination and timely completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and identify any non-conformance issues.
• Review contractors’ submissions including method statements, technical documents, and inspection records.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Resolve technical and site coordination issues efficiently to minimise delays.
• Maintain proper site documentation, reports, and inspection records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend meetings, inspections, and coordination sessions with project stakeholders when required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO)
• Candidates applying for RE positions should be registered with IES/ACES as Resident Engineer (C&S).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
• Experience in substations, data centers, industrial, or factory projects will be advantageous.
• Familiar with local construction regulations and authority requirements.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
