WSHO / ECO Safety Officer (Construction) – Up to $6,500 | 5.5 Days | Islandwide

We are hiring an experienced Safety Officer (WSHO) to oversee site safety, compliance, and environmental health for construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, statutory requirements, and company safety policies
• Review and improve Safety Management Systems in line with local legislation
• Conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, and WSH committee meetings
• Perform site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Enforce safety rules and take corrective actions for non-compliance
• Investigate incidents and implement preventive and corrective measures
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders on safety matters
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and submission of safety records
• Work closely with project teams to identify and mitigate safety and environmental risks

Job Requirements

• Registered WSHO & ECO certification (mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HDB or commercial construction projects
• Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Health, or related field
• Strong knowledge of local WSH regulations and compliance standards
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Working Hours

• 5.5-day work week
• Islandwide project sites

Salary

• Up to $6,500/month (depending on experience)
