Job Summary

Manage construction contract processes including tender submissions, progress claims, and contract finalization to ensure compliance, timely payments, and effective stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive tender submissions that fulfill project requirements and meet deadlines
• Manage progress claims, variation orders, and finalize project contracts to ensure accurate and timely payments
• Solicit and compile quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project specifications and drawings
• Analyze and interpret tender specifications and drawings to support accurate contract documentation and submissions
• Establish and maintain effective communication and rapport with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate certification of payment claims

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Contracts Management/Administration, or a relevant discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction contract management
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
