Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Brentvale College International is seeking a committed and experienced Mathematics Teacher to deliver GCE O-Level and Cambridge International AS & A-Level Mathematics.
The role focuses on developing students’ conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and examination readiness within a structured academic framework.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with approved Schemes of Work and examination standards
Teach O-Level and/or Cambridge AS & A-Level Mathematics, ensuring strong exam preparation
Design and mark assessments, maintaining consistency with academic quality standards
Monitor student progress and provide targeted support, including remedial and enrichment sessions
Prepare students for high-stakes examinations with effective answering techniques
Maintain accurate academic records in line with school and regulatory requirements
Contribute to curriculum development and academic improvement initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level
Experience teaching GCE O-Level and/or Cambridge A-Level Mathematics preferred
Strong subject mastery and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Experience working with international students is an advantage
Proven track record in improving student outcomes in examinations
Familiarity with Cambridge or GCE assessment frameworks
Ability to teach Further Mathematics will be an advantage
Strong classroom management and communication skills
