Job Description
1. Position Overview
-This position is suitable for candidates who are
currently working in Singapore
and hold a
valid Singapore Class 3 Driving
Licence
, and who also possess a
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics-related fields
, together with
an
electrical certificate, relevant electrical operation qualification, or commercial kitchen equipment installation and repair
experience
.
-The company is looking for candidates with a solid technical foundation who are able to drive independently and support on-site
work. The employee will be involved in commercial kitchen equipment installation, repair, maintenance, in-house support, field
service, equipment handling, and customer site support, with the opportunity to develop into a stable commercial kitchen
equipment installation and repair technician.
2. Job Requirements
2.2 Work Coordination Requirements
-Able to drive company vehicles independently or work with the team for field service jobs;
-Able to assist with delivery, handling, installation, repair, and site clean-up work;
-Able to follow site safety requirements and company work arrangements;
-Willing to continue learning Singapore commercial kitchen equipment installation, repair, inspection, and maintenance
procedures;
-Able to support in-house work, customer site service, and emergency repair support as arranged by the company.
2.3 Education & Professional Background
-hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related fields
;
-Relevant fields include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Refrigeration, Welding, Mechanical
Maintenance, and related disciplines;
-Candidates with training background in commercial kitchen equipment, M&E equipment, or electrical equipment repair will be
preferred.
2.4 Skills & Experience
-hold an electrical certificate or possess relevant electrical operation qualification
;
-have experience in commercial kitchen equipment installation, repair, or maintenance
;
-Experience in electrical appliance repair will be preferred;
Experience in mechanical-electrical repair or mechatronics equipment repair will be an added advantage;
-Familiar with basic electrical equipment, mechanical structures, and installation/repair principles;
-Able to perform basic electrical work, mechanical assembly, equipment troubleshooting, and parts replacement;
-Experience in repairing commercial kitchen equipment such as gas equipment, stainless steel equipment, refrigeration
equipment, steam cabinets, cooking ranges, deep fryers, and dishwashers will be preferred;
-Welding, mechanical repair, or on-site installation experience will be an advantage;
-Able to carry out basic repair, inspection, installation support, and field service work independently or under technician
guidance.
3. Main Job Responsibilities
-Assist technicians in the installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment;
-Assist in field service work involving gas equipment, electrical equipment, stainless steel equipment, and refrigeration
equipment;
-Drive company vehicles or work with the team to attend customer sites for delivery, handling, installation, repair, or emergency
service;
-Assist in moving, positioning, fixing, and installing commercial kitchen equipment;
-Support in-house equipment arrangement, tool preparation, parts organization, cleaning, inspection, and simple repair work;
-Assist in equipment troubleshooting, parts replacement, basic repair, and customer site handling;
-Complete work records, repair feedback, and field service reports according to company requirements;
-Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas clean and comply with safety operating requirements.
