Buyer (Standard /Commercial)

Responsibilities:-

• Sourcing quotations, negotiate price, terms and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company
• Drive cost reduction initiatives by leveraging negotiation, value engineering, logistics optimization, and other innovative approaches to ensure total cost competitiveness.
• Manage purchase orders from creation to delivery, including order tracking and resolve and supply chain issues that may arise.
• Proactively monitor and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery of purchase parts and materials.
• Liaise closely with internal department including Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering and Logistics to understand operational needs and provide effective procurement support.

Requirements: -

• Minimum Diploma in Purchasing/Supply Chain or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and vendor sourcing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP System
• A proactive team player with ability to work independently
• Able perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
