Maxx Engineering Pte Ltd is looking for a dynamic and motivated Maintenance / Business Development Manager to expand our engineering services in building maintenance and Addition &Alteration (A&A) works. The successful candidate will be responsible for business development, client management, and project coordination to support the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Source and develop new business opportunities for maintenance contracts and A&A projects (Fire Protection Codes of Practices)
• Lead, plan, and manage full project lifecycle including design, installation, testing & commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, manpower deployment, and project timelines to ensure timely completion of maintenance and A&A works within budget.
• Conduct site visits and understand clients' requirements.
• Prepare quotations, tenders, and service proposals.
• Manage maintenance contracts, renewals, and customer accounts.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and main contractors on all technical matters.
• Coordinate with operations and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project costs/progress, variations orders, payment collections, and procurement activities.
• Ensure all works comply with SCDF requirements, Singapore Standards (SS), NFPA codes, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct regular project meetings and ensure effective communication within the project team.
• Achieve sales and business development targets.
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Building, Construction, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire protection, M&E, or construction industry or A&A works.
• Good knowledge of fire protection systems and SCDF regulations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and business development skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, and results oriented.
