Your new company

A Japanese MNC focusing on manufacturing and R&D looking to hire a contract Finance & Accounting Specialist for approx. 3months.

Location: CBD

Duration: approx. 3 months

Salary: up to $4,000 per month

Your new role

•              The Finance &Accounting Specialist assists the Regional Finance Manager in accounting and treasury-related activities.

•              This role focuses on supporting group financing processes, maintaining accurate records, compiling data for reporting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day treasury operations.

•              Responsibilities include SAP system data entry, preparation of reports for Finance and Accounting team, and assist in coordination of routine accounting and treasury administration tasks.

Treasury & Cash Administration

·        Cash monitoring and forecasting: Track cash and bank transactions and balances, prepare reconciliations and cashflow forecast, and ensure accurate documentation.

·        Transaction support: Coordinate with counterparties within the region for loan drawdowns, prepare loan applications/agreements and ensure proper filing of signed documents. Assist accounting team in preparing wire transfers to intercompany via SAP.

·        Cash flow reporting: Compile and submit monthly cash flow reports and forecasts based on provided data.

·        Bank account administration: Maintain records of bank accounts, authorized signatories, and related documentation.

Accounting Administrative Support

·        SAP data entry: Support accounting team on inputting invoices, receipts, loan contract and hedging details into SAP accurately and on time.

·        Data compilation: Collect and organize financial data for reporting requirements of the Finance and Accounting team.

·        Expense tracking: Support expense claim processing and maintain proper filing of supporting documents.

·        Audit preparation: Assist in preparing documentation and records required for internal and external audits.

Reporting & Coordination

·        Treasury reporting: Assist in preparing treasury reports and summaries for management review.

·        Intercompany coordination: Support communication with overseas affiliates on routine fund management and reporting requirements.

·        Policy compliance: Ensure adherence to established treasury and finance policies by maintaining proper documentation and filing systems.

What you'll need to succeed

·        Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.

·        Prior experience in administrative support within finance or accounting functions is preferred.

·        Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for data entry and reporting.

·        Experience in multi-cultural or regional environments is an advantage.
