Trainee Shipbroker

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifying potential business opportunities
• Conducting market research to obtain key data for analytical purposes
• Fixing cargo for profit maximization
• Support the shipbrokering sector desk, and other commodities when needed

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in any discipline, though a background in Business, Economics, Maritime Studies, and Shipping would have an advantage
• Shipping operations experience is strongly preferred
• Min 1- 2 years’ experience in similar capacity
• Good network of clientele with proven track record will be a plus
  Outgoing personality and extrovert. Looking for candidates that have charisma and are able to talk to people
• Those without experience but with maritime education can be consider for other positons in shipping and marine company
